Conference 2009...... success!

Thank you so much to everyone that helped to make our 2009 Spring Conference such a huge success!! God moved in a mighty way and I know that many lives were forever changed. We had a wonderful time of ministry and fellowship!

The Countdown Begins!!!

I can't believe our conference is only 1 week away!! Everyone has been working so hard to make this conference better than ever!
Not only have we been praying for God's presence to touch lives in a mighty way, but we've also been spending alot of time on those extra touches that we hope will make every woman that attends feel relaxed, refreshed & renewed!
And what would a conference at MCC be without awesome door prizes, goodie bags & yummy food??!! We are going all out this year to pamper and bless you!

Conference Workday

We've set a workday for the conference on Thursday, April 16 @ 9:00am. We will be setting up, decorating and getting all those last minute touches wrapped up. Conference Worship

We are so excited to experience the dynamic worship lead by Amy Gaskins and MCC's Praise & Worship Team: {ADORE}.
Praise and worship is extremely important to us at MCC. We know that worship is what ushers in the very presence of God. The bible says "He inhabits the praisies of His people." When we take the time to worship Him and seek His face, He shows up! Worship lifts us up from where we are in our lives and pushes us up to a higher place. A place where our troubles and concerns seem smaller because of the greatness of our God.
It's not just the music before the preaching... it's a way of life. We should live a lifestyle of worship, where everything we do and everything we say brings glory and honor to Him. The more you seek His face, the more you will find Him. Our God is awesome... He truly is our refuge, our portion, and our strength... a very present help in time of need.
Our prayer for the Spring Conference is that you will come with an open heart, ready to receive all that God has for you, and that you will enter His presence like never before. We pray that what you experience at this year's conference will leave a lasting impression on your life.

Conference Luncheon Information

The catered luncheon at our Spring Conference is a fun and anticipated event! This year's luncheon is being catered by "It's Catered!" of Buffalo.
Tickets are only $12 and may be purchased or reserved until Friday, April 10 by calling the MCC church office at (903)322-2300 or emailing CARYN
This year, our delicious menu consist of:
Salad:
Spinach Strawberry Salad
Fresh spinach blends with juicy strawberries and crunchy walnuts covered with a delicious raspberry vinaigrette.

Two Soup and Sandwich Choices:
(1)Loaded Baked Potato with Chicken Salad Sandwiches
All the goodness of a fully-loaded baked potato in soup form! A creamy sauce blends the flavors of hearty potatoes, bacon, green onion and two cheeses into one amazing dish; accompanied by light, flaky croissants stuffed with chicken salad.
(2)Taco Soup with Smokey Santa Fe Sandwiches
Chicken mixes with savory beans, corn, tomatoes and chilies in a mild but hearty soup; accompanied by sandwiches loaded with smoked turkey, bacon, tomato, and avocado on multi-grain bread, topped with a delicious Southwest-inspired mayonnaise

Two Dessert Choices:
(1)Crème Brule
Thick and creamy custard baked and topped with a crispy, sugary glaze!
(2)Triple-Chocolate Cake
Rich and delightful cakes loaded with chocolate goodness!

Speaker: Amy Gaskins

Amy Gaskins is the Worship leader of Miracle Christan Center, as well as the daughter of Pastor Lloyd & Cheryl Lane. Growing up in the ministry, Amy has been singing in church since the age of 2. She has been involved in the ministry of some form as long as she can remember! Amy has been a Children/Youth pastor for over 15 years and has taught not only in Adult Sunday School, Bible School, Conferences and Workshops, but she also fills in for her Dad as she is needed at MCC. Amy is not only dynamic when leading Worship, but also in teaching the Word. You will enjoy her real-life(sometimes comical)approach to ministry!
Amy has a passion and drive along with our entire worship team at MCC to lead people in to the very presence of God, not only in church services, but in our every-day lives.
Amy has been married to her husband, Brad for over 15 years. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Bethany-13 and Allyson-10.
